Hi, I would like to ask support regarding my slight problem of network accessibility. I want to access my phone via network access, my phone is connected through wireless while my pc is on cable connection. The weird thing is, I can't seem to connect to phone and it is more like the wireless and cable connections are completely different network.
I am providing my advanced wireless setup. Note that the ssid were left blank on purpose, please don't comment that out :)

Am I missing something? From what I remember, I only did ip address reservation, and qos. The DHCP of my phone and my pc both under same subnet mask while my pc's address is 200, my phone is 201
Any helps would be appreciated in solving this problem
Thank you in advance

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Only think I would try is to make sure that both devices are on the same workgroup host name, ensure you have something shared out on each device like a folder with data content and try testing out with your SSID visible, not invisible at first.

Hi, thank you for your reply, here is the answer to your series of question in order:
Actually I am trying to transfer file via an app called Airdroid for android device. Supposedly the connection can be direct via ip address or scanning the qr code method. I had no problem with the previous dsl-2640b model. Reasons I get this 2750e because I thought 2640b got fried and broken but it it wasn't (it was the adapter).
Here is a little bit of detail on Airdroid app, I tried to use the ip address and qr code method, it failed to connect saying I need to login via email, so I did. When I got in, there's a connection method icon in the lower right, saying that I'm on cloud connection mode instead of local connection mode. But the truth is, both of my pc (cable) and phone (wireless) connected to the same router (2750E)

I recommend contacting the Mfr of the app and see if they have any help and supporting information.
Do you have the old MODEM? If so can you connect to it and see if eveything still works on that modem? You might compare settings between the two modems to see if you notice anything different.

I believe the app is perfectly fine, I did try with other similar app that uses ftp, accessed from windows explorer and I couldn't access my phone either. That leaves out this modem.
I still keep my old modem and keeping it as my backup just in case anything bad happened and doing a side by side setting comparison would impossible since I only got 1 adapter that is compatible with the modem's power requirement. I am going to try factory reset first and check if factory reset solves the problem. I will give you update about this

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I just did a factory reset and compared with my old modem and here is the result
I could only get a remote (cloud) connection mode even with factory setting
But with the old modem, I could connect locally without any problems
My old modem were lightly configured in the past. This is very weird. I try to find where I could contact my local d-link support via e-mail.
In the meantime, a support from this thread also welcomed
Thank you in advance

Let us know what you find out. I recommend phone support vs email.
