Title: New DIR-601 HW B1, No IPv6 UI
Post by: erickampman on August 07, 2014, 09:14:21 AM
I bought this thing to test IPv6. Upgraded to 2.01. No IPv6 Web UI. Coworker has rev A board with IPv6. What's the deal?

Can you provide a screen capture of the main setup page with the feature listing on the left side? There should be an IPv6 feature displayed there if it's supported or listed under Advanced?

Looking at the User Manual for Rev A and B, I don't see IPv6 that is supported on Rev B at all. Maybe that they removed IPv6 support on Rev B model routers for some reason...

North America.  AFA screenshot it appears the only way to do that is to post it somewhere else and link to it, which I'm not going to do.

I think I'm just going to send the thing back. Seems crazy to pull out a feature just as we're running out of IPv4 addresses, but whatever.

Well, the 601 has been headed into phased out status is it's an older router that probably wont be developed on any more unless there is a security issue.

I recommend getting into something newer like starting with the DIR-636L and above.

Good Luck.
