I got myself a DNS - 320L with 2 "old" 500gb Harddisks and everything is working fine
I would like to get 2 new Harddisks but i don't know what firmware i need to be able to install 2X3 TB
and what disk would work best with my 320. (If there is one that has been tested and found good)
I got the 320L H/W Ver A3 F/W Ver 1.02
Your help would be appreciated (Yes i did check the FAQ's)
Thank you
Wolf
After reading and reading i am not even sure that the 320L can take 2x6 terras
Some people at Amazon told me yes - no problem - who can help - who can light my lantern ??

You should have no problem using 3TB disks in the NAS. I'm using 2x3TB WD Green drives, and have since F/W Ver 1.00. I've since upgraded to Ver 1.03, and haven't seen any problems.
WD claims that their 6TB WD60EFRX disk is compatible with the DNS-320L (http://wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=810#tab10 (http://wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=810#tab10)), and I don't see any reasons why 6TB drives shouldn't be supported.
Good luck.

6TB - omg - would be very nice to have 12 TB but then my wife would kill me if i buy drives for 500 euros :-)
2X3 would be enought for me
Finally i found a listing what drives are compatible with my box - must have overlooked it first time
- thank you !!

To work properly, you should use the last setup wizard, available on the link below for example :
ftp://ftp.dlink.eu/Products/dns/dns-320lw/driver_software/DNS-320LW_sw_revA1A2_1-0-2-3_eu_en_20130225%20(EU%20setup%20Wizard).zip
