Title: DDNS Account Trouble with Mac Address
Post by: SCO7TY on August 14, 2014, 05:02:34 AM
Hi, this is most likely a silly question but here goes!

I've just bought and set up my D-Link DNS 320L and came to the point in the setup which asked me to set up a DDNS account. It asks me for the serial number which I found on the box, and the Mac Address which i cant find anywhere!

It's not on the DNS box or in the packaging anywhere, am i looking in the wrong place?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
You are posting in the older DNS-320 forum, there is a new forum under the cameras area.  But if you are totally new and cannot get into your 320L setting yet, just log into your router and look around in there for "system status" or "devices" or whatever, all of the devices connected should be in there and so will there MAC ID's.  By the way, when you go to setup your DDNS account, you have to put ":" between each pair of numbers.   Good luck

Thanks for the reply, I'll move over to the other forum and also check under settings.
