Title: Seagate 3TB drive
Post by: Gropes on August 15, 2014, 07:21:41 AM
I have a DNS-320L and having tried a couple times transferring files into the Seagate 3TB I get message that I don't have permission to do anything and no files that has been transferred works anymore.

I thought it was because the enclosure wasn't compatible with 3TB drives but only realised now that it's the DNS-320 which needs to be upgraded to frimware 2.03 to be compatible with 3TB drives.

Has anyone got similar issues?

Thanks

Hi,
Actually, there is a specific forum for the DNS 320L
http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=347.0
Dlink's placement confuses a lot of people.  Might get better results there.  I do not think your 3TB drive has anything to do with your issue, I know I have seen some rare problem similiar to yours though in either this forum or perhaps the DNS 325 forum.  You might get luck searching different key words.  Good luck
