Sorry if this has been asked before but here goes.
I wanted to confirm if I could upload a snapshot to my weather station website with a set file name so visitors to the site see the latest image?
Clearly if every image uploaded is unique then it would be impossible to include a link to the webcam image from my web page as each file would be named differently.
I have just cancelled the Amazon order as I have seen suggestions that this is not possible. I think you guys are the only ones who can answer this question for me.
Cheers

You can't do it directly from the camera. You could do it with some kind of intermediary. For example, a script on a computer somewhere that grabs the current frame from the camera's image URL and then saves it as the filename you want on your web server.

Thanks for this response.
Is there any D Link camera that can publish to me web server a constant fine name to achieve what I require per my post above without having my PC turned on?
Even if its a camera I can set up indoors to look outside at the cloud cover/ weather conditions
If not I'll have to look elsewhere.
Thanks in anticipation.

To my understanding the "lower-end" models from D-Link (DCS-930L, DCS-932L) are capable of using the same file name in FTP transfer. I own three DCS-2132Ls, which don't support this functionality either and this is the most annoying issue for me as well >:(
