At this time I am not personally aware of the hardware-based functional differences (if any) between the DCS-942L Rev "A" and Rev "B" models.

- [New Feature] Add sensitivity settings for light sensor on device Web GUI

I haven't had a chance to play with this specific model, but after reading through the Rev B user manual, it looks like D-Link finally found a way to add sensitivity settings to the Day/Night Mode cutover.  The DCS-942L Rev B user manual illustrates the following field under the DAY/NIGHT MODE firmware page:
Light Sensor Sensitivity (Dropdown menu:  screenshot in user manual has value "High" - implies Low/Medium/High)

Does this mean that those of us with Rev A are not going to get further updates?

No.  There are other active D-Link product lines with concurrent updates to multiple hardware revisions.

What is the most current firmware for Rev A (mine says Rev A3 on the back)? I have 1.23 installed, and I'm getting prompts to upgrade from the MyDlink app on my phone. I can't find a newer firmware version for Rev A.  Is there one?  Or does the app not know Rev A uses different firmware than Rev B?
