Hello,
I have DNS-320L running on RAID1 for a year without any issues so far.
It's connected by Gigabit LAN router Asus N65U.
A few weeks back I've started DLNA server on the NAS, and from this point forward WRITE speed dropped to less than 1MB/s (for large number of jpeg files between 15MB - 50MB)
Before that I had 30-40MB/s
READ speed is still fine around 40MB/s
I tried to stop DLNA, I've factory reset the device, and still nothing.
I've noticed that if I transfer single large file (1GB) It takes forever to ALLOCATE the space before it start writing the file with normal speed (30MB/s).
My guess is that is what breaks the copy process. So how can I stop doing that or speed up?
Any thoughts?

wonder if the drive is starting to fail? Justdo a quick S.M.A.RT scan to rule that out... see if it passes or fails

I tried that, it's not. I'll try full scan when I have time, because it takes ages to finish.
I wonder if I can ask for replacement, but I can't give them the HDDs. And it technically is still working.

Connect the drive to a pc and check what hdsentinel says.. No testing is needed
