Is the DNS-327L able to install miniDLNA onto it? I want to be able to have subtitles in my movies (Have the .srt file and movie file in same folder already) when I play them to my smart TV. I heard that miniDLNA is able to play the subs... Has anyone installed it b4? Or any other way to play the subtitles without getting other hardware? Thanks!

Should be possible after installing ffp 0.7.
I also use ffp on my DNS-327 (but not for mini-dlna, yet).
Although D-Links NAS devices support fun_plug, i.e. allow developments like ffp, they won't give you support for this. So basic Linux knowledge is required. However, there are nice tutorials on the web...
