Title: Cameras constantly blinking green
Post by: robbversion1 on September 05, 2014, 07:42:57 AM
So I setup 3 932-l last night wirelessly and they work just great. Noticed that each one had a solid green light meaning that they were idle. When viewing the camera from either my phone or computer the green light would blink. Disconnect from them and they would turn solid again.

This morning I connected them to my DNR-202l and noticed that all 3 of them are constantly blinking now. I figured that the DNR was set to record mode and was 'using' the cameras. So I stopped the DNR from recording and now everything is in standby mode, but the cameras are still blinking.

Could the blinking just be because they're connected to the DNR and they're constantly in use by it, even when not recording? If thats the case is there a way to stop the blinking?

Sorry this is an old thread but yes. If you use a DNR product and the cameras are configured with them, the LED on your cameras will always blink regardless of recording or not. You can validate this buy turning off your DNR for a few minutes and powering it back up to see the LED behavior.
