Just updated to this firmware on my DNS-345. In Safari (v7.1), you log in to the ShareCenter GUI and it locks up in the opening screen. I've tried it in Firefox (v33.0) and it works there.

It happened now the second time that my iSCSI targets disappeared. Please see my thread here: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=60709.msg243317#msg243317
I ran both this 04 and 03 firmware and same issues reappeared. Its seems to be just random. The iSCSI files are still on the volume and they come back if I recreate the target with the same name.

Hi,
I have updated the firmware on my DNS 345 on the last week. Before I was using the original one -1.0. After updating I have concerned with the following: If I copy bigger (>5 Gb) files to the DNS 345 after 3-4 Gb Data transfer is getting be always very slow (1000-2000 Kbyte/sec). With the original firmware it never happened, the transfer rate was always ~50 Mbyte/sec.
I have 4 HDD’s in, and I have CAT6 cables on the pipeline. Nothing was changed, only the firmware…
Do you have any ideas how can I fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

I have solved my problem with a downgrade of the firmware to 1.01. Now copying the same files as before with very low transfer rate is done with av. 53Mbyte/sec.
But I think is not normal and something is wrong with 1.04b02...

I'm seeing 90Mb xfer speeds with v1.03 FW that came loaded on my 345. I haven't updated to v1.04 yet. Not sure if I will. ::)
