Title: Any other router with Streamboost that we can purchase in Asia?
Post by: oisilener1982 on September 10, 2014, 12:04:49 AM
Since Dlink does not have any plan to release DGL-5500 to any other region except NA, is there any router out there with streamboost technology that we can purchase in Asia?

If Dlink can produce a Dual wan router with Steamboost that would be awesome

Yep, it's your only option if you want Streamboost.  It might have issues with locking up on the latest beta release (or dropping wired packets if the WiFi is used with certain devices on older versions), but Streamboost does work better than any previous router at making sure no one source of network traffic can make everything else lag on my network.

It was mentioned that TP-Link's C7 Archer was supposedly to have SB:

Looks like it may not. You might ask TP-Link if they have any SB supported routers or get a hold of QualComm directly and ask since SB belongs to them.
