Title: Replacement AC adapter for DNS-320
Post by: erniegiro on September 23, 2014, 08:39:01 PM
Hi, how can I get a replacement AC adapter, the plug that fits onto the unit has failed. Looking at the AC adaptor, it is an Asian Power Devices Inc. Model DA-48Q2, output 12V 4A. Is the a parts department I can order it from?

If it is only the plug that is broken and it has not damaged the power block itself then all you need to do is buy a replacement plug from an electronics parts store and solder it on as a replacement (make sire the +v goes to the centre pin).

If you want to replace the entire power block then any one that has an output of 12v @ 4A ( the amps can be more than 4) with the correct size of concentric plug will work and there are several places on the internet as well as local electronics stores that have such units.
