Title: Totally unable to Login to router
Post by: manav1984 on November 08, 2014, 08:27:25 AM
Hi,
I connect to the internet through a PPOE connection. My DIR 600L router is connected to the modem. Now the issue is i cannot login to my dlink router. Even after reset, it guides me through the easy setup process, which i am unable to bypass. I am required to setup my PPOE internet, wifi password and Administrator password to login to 192.168.0.1. I am unable to leave this blank for some reason. Now after completing everything it logs me out, and when i try to login again, it says password or username invalid. This is a permanent loop. Whatever i do, i end up here even on hard reset. Please help.

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)

FW Update Process (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=42457.0)

I would do a reload of the FW file using a factory reset, upload the .bin fw file, factory reset once more and set up from scratch using IE or FF only.

Be sure to disable any browser add-ons and PC security programs while doing this.

Try using a different PC if one is available...
