Title: My DNS-321 powered off!
Post by: networker on June 23, 2009, 01:31:41 PM
Has anyone had this problem where you are accessing the drive and for no reason you loose access and when you check the drive it is off? Completely powered off!

There is no error log to view and it did not send an email that the thermal limit was reached, though the unit did feel warm but no warmer than a standard DT PC.

I had this happen with FW1.01 & 1.02.

Push your DNS to the limit and see what happens. I was streaming a +4GB DVR file to my PC when it pooped!

There are (2) 500GB drives that are on the list of D-Link tested drives and they are configured as JBOD.

Nope..I haven't seen that. At any given time my unit is usually streaming to 3 different Xbox's and a DSM-750 while downloading torrents and I have never had such an issue. I am running the latest beta code on my unit at home 1.03 b7.
