Title: DCS 2332L cannot connect to wifi
Post by: megso on November 15, 2014, 06:28:01 AM
I have had my DCS 2332L for about a year.   The initial wifi set up was easy and it was working great.   One day it just stopped working,   We did not have a chance to fix it right away because of the weather outside so we just unplugged it.   As the weather got better we brought I in the house and tried to set up the camera again.   The wired connection works but it will not connect to our wifi.   I called support and talked to them for about 2 days, we tried changing the type of wifi connection on my Linksys routers admin page, we changed it on the Dlink advanced page, without much hope.   We recently went out and bought a better Linksys router thinking it was because we had too many devices on the old router....that did not work either.  All of our devices can find the new router's wifi except for the camera.

Has anyone else had this issue?   I am starting to this it is the camera and not our internet.

Thanks!

Have you tried changing the wifi channel?

Sounds like the WiFi is broke on the camera.

You could probably open it up carefully and see if the connection to the board for wifi is still together. Usually 2 lines that pop onto the board.
Search the Internet for examples of wifi antenna connections
