- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
Please download the current FW file version for your region and follow this to apply it:

I believe the nearest regional available FW for your model router is from Brazil:

Hi:
I bought the Router the last year i never make a firmware update, after that version 1.01, the version 1.02 7-12-12, 1.03 11-21-12 and the most recent version 1.04.B11 12-4-2013, I verified that info at support.dlink

If there isn't a problem then I would not update FW.
Use the link provided for your regional FW update if needed.
Good Luck.

Hi:
which is your recommendation? upgrade 1.01 to 1.02, or directly to the 1.04, or not upgrade firmware

Are you experiencing any problems? If your not then I would keep what is currently loaded.
