Title: Not able to access files on DNS-327L
Post by: ppopov on November 20, 2014, 01:35:57 AM
We have set up a DNS-327L as a file storage on a DLink Gigabit switch and 2 other computers (running Windows.) The primary filetypes are Solidwork 3D assemblies and drawings. Our designers open the assemblies directly from the ShareCenter to modify them. After a couple of hours working the mapped drive on the 2 computers becomes inaccessible or some files are not able to open. After restarting the device everything works back as normal, but the issues occur again after 2-3 hours.

Current NAS Firmware Version 1.03
Current Microprocessor Firmware Version 1.04
Firmware Date 07/22/2014

Disk1 WD WDC WD10EFRX-68PJCN0
Disk2 WD WDC WD10EFRX-68PJCN0

Please let me know if you have any ideas how to troubleshoot or solve the issue.

* Edited: Maybe the HDDs are not fully compatible with DNS-327L?
