There must be some beta or alternate firmware out there for the 1.11  A1 version..  My DIR 655 fried, so I thought I would go with the 1 up, so bought this one.  Now this one works worse then my old Linksys 54 .  Am having all sorts of issues with voip and freezing of the router that it needs to be restarted.

Problem has been out for months now, please let us know if there is even work being done on this issue so that we might at least go buy an alternate instead of waiting for a fix thats never coming

Load V1.10b.  It'll end most of your issues.  Other forum members have confirmed the backward move is possible and works despite the warning on the D-Link upgrade page.
