This firmware first showed up on some D-Link sites in July 2014, and we discussed it a bit in this thread:

http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=60364.0

I installed it then but had to roll back due to some issues with the software.  Despite the version linked here being numbered the same as that earlier one, I'm happy to say that at least one significant issue no longer exists.  With the earlier release of 1.03b06, the switch from AVI videos to MP4 was in place, but the MP4s were corrupt in some way.  Even browsing a directory containing them on a Mac would crash the Mac's Finder.  So, you could record videos, but not look at them.  I'm happy to say that is no longer happening with this release, and the camera is producing mobile-compatible MP4 video files at last.

Also, this firmware contains one significant new feature not mentioned in the release notes: you can now configure motion detection in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, and not just with IE.
