Title: Set minimun lux to turn nightvision on
Post by: em02044 on December 24, 2014, 03:08:37 PM
My Camera turns the nightvision on when theres still enough light available. Is there a way to define the quantity of light to turn the nightvision on?

No there no way to do it.

Workaround is, go to the web UI of the camera, then go to the setup, then finally go to the Day / Night Mode.
choose Day Mode Schedule, then assign the day schedule per day of the camera, say 06:00 - 18:00, this will help the camera use it's night vision by schedule only, night mode will be turned off from 6AM to 6PM. Then at 6:01, camera will automatically turn the Night Mode on.

Hope this helps...

As 42ner pointed out, the DCS-932L has no way to set the light threshold to engage/disengage Night Mode. Night Mode on a schedule is the only option for this model.
