Title: Using the NAS 320L only with USB external HDD possible?

Hi

I am new to this and wanna ask if it's possible to use the D-Link 320L without the internal HDD?

I have a huge ext. USB-HDD and can't format the Drive now! I want to put 2x 1TB into the NAS but meanwhile i will use the NAS at my home network and on the road only with the external USB-Drive at the USB-Ports.

IS this possible?!?
