Title: File Download _span_ prefix and suffix

Whenever I down load a file; for some reason a pre-fix and suffix of _span_ is added as both a prefix and suffix - I have seen posts in the D-Link forum quoting this symptom - but never with a solution

Thus "Abu Dhabi CCTV Circular (3)2009.pdf" becomes "_span_Abu Dhabi CCTV Circular (3)2009.pdf__span_" and cannot be directly opened.

Does anyone know of a solution or workaround?

I haven't seen this before ???
How are you downloading the file?
And I presume you are copying the file from the DNS-345 to another device?

I am using Sharecenter to download onto a PC,

My colleagues have a similar problem on other Windows PCs - we have tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer with the same result. We have tried with different file types and it always adds the prefix and suffix.

There is a post regarding the same problem logged for a DNS320L - but no resolution

Forgot to mention - 2 hard drives configured as RAID 1

I already had the latest firmware installed, but ran a update and problem is now resolved.
