Title: Google Drive errors with Firmware 1.04
Post by: blisterbutt on January 09, 2015, 01:05:58 PM
Hello,
I am using firmware 1.04 which has Google Drive.......Everytime I go to enter the key provided by Google Drive, I keep getting an error message even though I have provided the correct account email and key generated via Google.

This is frustrating as I dunno how to fix or what's going on.

Some help please.......

I am having the same issue,
This is on a Win 7 Pro system, with DSL connection within the UK.
The 320L has previously connected once to G Drive and created the .grive file and started synchronisation. This has now halted and removal and recreation of the link and sync of account fails.
The authorisation has been removed from my google account and when I try to re-auth the landing page appear malformed as the image is a holding .img

Has anyone come accross this before or have a solution ?

I'm located in the US specifically near Chicago and I have Comcast as an ISP.

I've used three different browsers but same issue on an XP system.

so far so good in the UK so does not seem to affect everybody, just wish you could specify a folder in Google drive rather than the whole thing

I'm having the same issue.
I can go through the set up and it seems to work but then you hit the Syns button and it says failed but some of the pics are there?
Could this be a port problem in my router?

OK I have created a new folder on the NAS and then added a couple of pics and hit Sync. The NAS said it had failed but they where on the Google Drive. I then set it to hourly and then added a new folder within the original with a few more pics in it and waited. At the time it did sync the new folder and pics within but still said it failed.
Now it seems to work but the worry for me is if I upgrade to 1tb and sync all my images and videos (20000+) I wont know if the sync was successful.

Can this be sorted please as I am not upgrading until it is.

Hi

After I upgraded firmware, my very well functionel Google drive doesn't work anymore.
I upgraded from v1.04b008 to v1.04b012 and after that i experience the same as blisterbutt

The Google drive setup access the Google page where I get the Key for my account, but when I paste it, DNS-320L states that it doesn't wotk.

Just for info: I'm located in Europe

Thomas

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Hi

Dlink support suggested to make a factory reset, settings back to default, and that made the trick.
Now google drive syncronizing works again.

The first days I worked well in a while ... now not

Looks like just one reset of the NAS and set up from scratch resolve this one users problem with Google drive. You should attempt this proceedure and report back if G drive stops again. If it does then, additional troubleshooting steps maybe needed.

I just did a firmware upgrade as they told me the technical service. And a reset to factory.
DLINK_DNS320L(LW).1.04b12(3.07.1226.2014)
Follow all the same.
Google drive authorization requests, give me the number of key, but google does not authorize the application.
The data requested by me as the I send?
thanks

You might want to contact Google and ask them about the specific of the handling and configuration of there SW. If they can't help resolve this then I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Hi Again,

I´m doing some tests and, if i specify another e-mail account; it works.
Maybe, it´s something with the validation at the user side ?  At my Old Google account , the application appears not allowed, but  yes at the new mail account and it works (see the message:   "grive Tiene acceso a Documentos de Google " )

It´s possible that if i have revoked the app once, it will never validate again?
(I can try to help to chek the code of the plugin)

Regards.

Hi! I telnet my dlink NAS

sh-4.1# cd /mnt/HD/HD_a2/GoogleDrive

config file name "./.grive"
last sync time: 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000Z
Getting abouts

Maybe I should open a new topic...

I've been trying to do the same but could not get the included add-on working.  I download and installed Grive2 and was able to sync my GoogleDrive files.  Although it took a lot of retries to get them all synced, but now it seems to be stable.

have issues with the time showed in the logs and getting the vtcron to schedule the synchronization.

I found the solution for error message "Authentication Failed. Please check your Key." for my DNS-320L firmware v1.08 for build in GoogleDriveBackups

The problem is linked to the account name already stored, to resolve adding number after account, for example.
A workaround can be added a number after the email address of the account for example.

But the final solution in to remove the account name already stored.
Enable SSH e connect.
View file in /mnt/HD_a4/.systemfile/sched_gdrive, by use cat comand.
   cd /mnt/HD_a4/.systemfile/sched_gdrive
   cat account_list
   cat sched_gdrive.xml
If the "account_list" file if it contains the "hidden" account names not present in "sched_gdrive.xml" this are not listed on the web page, these e-mail account can not be added and they return an authentication error.
"account_list" and "sched_gdrive.xml" must contain the same accounts for no problems.
I have in "account_list" a e-mail account not present in web page list.
I delete all account in web page.
I rename "account_list" in "_account_list_1".
Reboot the NAS.
Recreate the accounts.

I think there is possible solve without delete all account, but may be able to modify "account_list" via SSH.
Or by using PC share to PC the file modify and substitute.
I suggest to reboot NAS after substitute the file.
