Prior to getting this new FW I would get email with motion and a picture, also would get a notification on my dlink lite app. Now I do not receive either of these. I called support and they cannot help as everything seems to be setup correctly. When I test the email setup I get the test email. I can also see in the logs that motion is getting triggered. I also reset to factory twice and set it up again with no changes. Anyone know where to get the previous 1.01.06 FW or know how to fix this issue? I noticed the Canada and US site list different firmware available as well.

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
What Mfr and Model # is the main host router?
Was a factory reset performed before and after updating FW then set up from scratch and tested again with email?

Telus High Speed Optik
Actiontec router (Provided by telus)
Did the factory reset after the FW update and setup again.

I presume if the camera was setup correctly as before and you've made sure that the email account settings are correct and it's not working, you could downgrade and test to see if it fixes this issue:
v1.01.06 (ftp://ftp.dlink.ca/PRODUCTS/DCS-2330L/DCS-2330L_REVA_FIRMWARE_1.01.06.BIN)
Do a factory reset, load the FW file using IE with the PC and camera LAN Wired connected with the main host router, then factory reset once more and set up from scratch.

Strange, I did not make any changes, but I randomly got an email alert with motion picture attached today. There has been movement randomly around my camera, but I still only got the one email.
-
Well if you got an email then the configuration for email would be correct.
Possible that the sensitivity maybe an issue? Not sure if movement around the camera was enough to pick up and send an email... ???
-
I changed the sensitivity from 5 - 90 and doesn't seem to make a difference. The log is showing events firing.

Ok, things are up and running again, but not what I expected so hopefully this will help someone.
I am back on the latest firmware 1.02.05
I had my event email setup to email my icloud.com address this worked for the longest time, but doesn't seem to work on the new firmware, or icloud.com is somehow blocking emails with pictures. I checked the spam folder etc and there was nothing there either.
When I setup as the icloud.com address to send TO, I would do the test and I WOULD get the notification, but I would never get the motion event emailed to me (It showed in the log that motion was detected).
I changed the address to a gmail.com account and it worked! I now we motion detection emails with pictures.

So do you think there is a problem with icloud.com and the fewer version of FW?
