Title: Java Error when trying to remote access DCS-5010L via web browser
Post by: ARARRATI on February 24, 2015, 10:04:21 AM
Hi guys,

I purchased 4 DCS-5010L cameras last year and set them up. I can remotely access the cameras via MyDlink.com (all 4 of them). When I try to access them via web browser by typing public ip address (without adding port number), I can only watch one camera, the same one every time an it works (Java works and shows live video). Well, when I add the port number assigned to the other three cameras I get a Java error (show in file javaerror.jpg). The ports are all forwarded, and I have the latest version of java installed (version 9 update 31, build 1.8.0_31-b13), I usually use Chrome, but I have tried IE and Firefox with the same results. I can get the Java Console Results if needed, I have tried on 4 different computers on 2 different external networks.

I have tried https://public ip address and http://ip public address with no results, as well.

I have also tried Remote Live Viewer from D-ViewCam, I keep getting an "Unreachable server".

JL it would appear his port forwarding is fine as he stated he can access all cameras with ports. Java isn't liking something.

The OP didn't say whether PF worked before the java update.  Also curious if unique ports are assigned to all four cameras.
