Post by: vectrex on February 25, 2015, 10:37:02 PM
Hello !

i have a similar problem like here: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=58948.0
which hasnt been solved !?  but on my dns-320L

i have installed a 2TB and a 3TB drive ... on my 3TB drive i have about 1.1 TB free when i look at the disk info ! however when copying to it e.g. 300GB of files i get a message : "not enough space you need to free up something like 230GB" in windows 7....

has anyone experienced that problem and has a solution ???

i have quotas DISABLED .... and also tried with quotas ENABLED (but set to unlimited)

thank you in advance.

I have a DNS-320L with firmware 1.03 ... the 3TB hdd formated fine.

Is the HDD formatted as a standard Volume?
Are there any partitions?
If you log into the DNS-320L, does the web UI recognize the HDD as a single 3 TB partition? (e.g. HDD Size 3000 GB; Used Space X GB; Free Space Y GB)
