I am running Windows Home Server 2011, this is based on windows Server 2008 (64-bit).
I have a static IP set up for the server, it has had a static IP for the last 3 years.
I was checking my DHCP table on the DIR-655 and for some reason the server was taking 10 DHCP IP reservations (always the highest 10 in the range I believe.)
Rebooted the router to clear all reservations, then rebooted the server. After the reboot the usual suspect devices all started grabbing IPs. Then a few minutes later, 10 IP reservations show up for the server again.
I tried pinging the IPs and accessing them with a browser. Pings time out, no browser access.
The weird part is that all 10 have the same MAC address, the address of the server.
Swapped out the NIC to a new NIC. Same thing. Now 10 reservations with the new MAC of the new NIC.
Has anyone seen this before? It is puzzling and I am concerned that it could be some issue, it is definitely not right.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
How are you using the 655 router? As a main host router or 2ndary router?
Possible that having two DHCP servers online are causing this effect. I have not seen this issue on my 655s, however I haven't ran an additional SW Server...
