Title: changed files are returned to stock after reboot and temperature settings

Hello,

When I change for example php.ini (add the line: default_charset = "UTF-8") it works fine, but when the NAS is rebooted, the file is back to stock and the change has gone away. How can I make these changes permanent?

Does anybody know where the temperature settings for the fan options are set?
I have it now on automatic (off/low/high) and it looks like it is not working.
If I put in manually low or high the fan works. With the automatic setting the drives are 44+ degrees celcius and the fan does nothing.
