After I enter the IP addresses and the mac for the devices, whether manually or using the <<< button, when the devices reboot, they're assigned a new IP out of the DHCP pool rather than the IP address chosen for them.
For example, I have an IP camera reserved for 192.168.0.5, when it reboots, it'll will change to 192.168.0.6. If I change the reservation to 192.168.0.6 then reboot the device, it'll change again to 192.168.0.5.
I cannot set the IP address on the camera to static, has to remain dhcp, so need the reservation to work as intended.
Any ideas what is going on here? Thanks

Nevermind, seen some of the other posts, where the "host name" says "--" so its a dlink firmware glitch with host names meaning I need a different router.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
The (--) are probably not a glitch, rather the router is not detecting the host name on the connected device due to the client device may not have a host name value entered on the device, thus the router doesn't see any value and uses the dashes signifying an "unknown" host name value. The host name value can be edited by you and then saved. You don't always have to use what the router sees for a host name.
