Hello, I have a D-link DIR-615E3 with firmware 5.12. The router has been acting weird, so I opened up the web gui and instantly noticed something weird and strange. At the top of the page on the right side it says:
Hardware Version: ȏlp Firmware Version: 5.12
It is suppose to say E3 beside Hardware Version isnt it? Any ideas what happend, or how to fix it?

- What region are you located?
PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again. (For older generation routers.)
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

Well you could attempt to reload the save FW version, follow this to do it if you feel the need:

I tryed upgrading firmware, us firmware, downgrading firmware, and even different region firmware, with all browsers and configurations mentioned above. Is this router to far gone? Or should i ignore the glitch and keep using it?

If this is the only issue and the router works otherwise, then you can keep using it.
