I know there was another post very similar to this one but slightly different hence the new post.
My problem is every couple of hours my router stops working and requires a power off/on cycle mostly when i am downloading things. When it goes down i have no connectivity with anything in my house wireless or otherwise. This has been going on for some time now and is very frustrating, can someone please tell me what is wrong ?

It is very important to state router hardware / firmware version and operating system / version. Some router have different problems when the version change and each operating system / version have their own problems access a router.

Sorry, OK i have the wireless N router thats a direct line to my computer, plus I have a 360 and PS3 and laptop running off the wireless. The hardware Version is B2 and my Firmware Version: 2.25. OS is Vista home premium 32bit. Thank you.
Another thing to note is (as previously mentioned) when trying to download large amounts of files that is when the crash occurs, if just looking at webpages or streaming video, playing games ie. 360 PS3 it will not crash. So its like its overloading it. Thing is i never had this problem with a previous computer router combo. I could set things to dload leave it overnight and have them still dloading in the morning.

I have exactly the same problem. Every couple of hours my wireless goes away and I need to reboot the router in order to have the wireless back. It's been working perfectly since last February but now something is happening to it, there's nothing new to our household electronic or electric related, it's just as usual, but we have some new neighbours that might have some kind of electrical device that might be the cause of my problems, I don't know ???
The devices that I have connecting to the router are:
Two 3G iphones
One laptop computer
Sony PS3
PSP
Desktop computer (wired connection)
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!!!
