Title: MySql included in any add-on???
Post by: belloto on April 08, 2015, 06:00:48 AM
Hello all from Spain...!!!

That's my question. I looking for a mysql add-on, but I don't find it. Maybe, if I install another add-on, mysql has been included.

Thanks, and sorry for my english.

MySQL is built into the firmware. Phpmyadmin is just a web interface for mysql server

Oh yes? Mysql is built in the last firmware? And, can I control it from original d-link web interface?

Sorry, but I was reading the release notes of the last firmware, and I don't find any about mysql server, can anyone confirm that firmware 1.04.B12 for DNS-320L has mysql server built in?

As you can see only in this page http://dlink.vtverdohleb.org.ua/Add-On/ only this DNS have mysql built in.
phpMyAdmin.DNS-325.current.addon
phpMyAdmin.DNS-327L.current.addon
phpMyAdmin.DNS-345.current.addon
phpMyAdmin.DNS-340L.current.addon

In dns320L you must install ffp then mysql on your own.

Try to install my version of the addon (phpMyAdmin v4.0.4). Default login/password: admin/admin
DNS-320L phpMyAdmin Package v1.01_04142015_UA (http://dlink2.vtverdohleb.org.ua/Add-On/DNS-320L%20phpMyAdmin%20Package%20v1.01_04142015_UA)

Thanks, but please, can you confirm me that this add-on has included mysql server, or the new firmware has included mysql server?

It's important for me because actually, I use my hdd to sync my multimedia in all my house. If I install this, and doesn't work, I will have to intall the old version and ffp again.

Thanks.

You can temporarily disable fun_plug - rename the fun_plug file, for example in fun_plug.old and reboot the NAS. To return the health fun_plug - rename back the file and restart the NAS.

But, with the new firmware?

But, with the new firmware?

f/w v1.04B12 - only release in the series f/w 1.04, others do not. mysqld in this firmware. In older f/w, you can only use mysql via fun_plug.

Hi, does anyone know how to restore mysql databases back to default???
Tried restoring the firmware settings but doesn't work.
I believe the actual databases are stored in a special partition of the hard drive but afraid to mess something up.
Thanks.

/mnt/HD_a4/.@database@/

Is it safe to delete everything there?
How to repopulate the default mysql, schema, and phpmyadmin database?

If delete /mnt/HD_a4/.@database@ you lose the weight data stored in a MySQL database. Will definitely need to reinstall all Addons that use MySQL database. You should understand that deleting /mnt/HD_a4/.@database@ to restore data from a MySQL database will not be possible.
Reinitialization of the NEW MySQL database after deleting "/mnt/HD_a4/.@database@":
Code: [Select]
startup-mysql
