After updating to the latest firmware (1.03.01) on my DCS5009L to fix the IR Filter clicking issue, myDLink Lite does not connect properly to the camera in remote mode. I am able to get the video stream but none of the controls work. If I am on the local network it works fine. I am on version 3.4.3. Any ideas how to get this working again?
TIA

Sorry for the delay, I haven't been on in a while. I am in the US.
As I previously stated, When connected through the local network, the app works fine. When I am away and in Remote mode, I only get the video stream and the controls don't work. All was fine before the firmware update on the camera.
Thanks

Please check to see if uPnP Port Forwarding is disabled or enabled. Enable if disabled and test.
What Mfr and model host router do you have?
What Mfr and model ISP modem do you have?
-
Port forwarding was disabled. I enabled it - still no joy.
The router is a Verizon FiOS router. Actiontec M1424-WR.
Would the host router and ISP router be the same? I am kinda' ignorant about some of this stuff. ???
-
Yes the ISP model and main host router can be the same if the ISP modem has a built in router and thats your main router.
Have you tried removing the app from your device then reinstalling it?
-
Not since I enabled port forwarding. Will try that next.

Keep us posted. If nothing seems to fix this, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and talk to someone about this. Ask for level 2 or higher support...

Sorry for the delay again... Life getting in the way of solving this.
Here's the latest.
Enabling port forwarding does work on my ipad which is wi-fi only. I was at a remote location with wi-fi access and it worked perfectly. However, my phone refuses to cooperate. Phone is a HTC One S. Is there any settings i should check on the phone?
-
my try to remove the app from the phone then re-install it.
Not experience with HTC phones here... :-\
