Hi everyone,
So i recently bought a new D-Link router(DIR-880L) and a new PC. And I would like to connect my 320L NAS to it. But is there a way I can re-setup my NAS without formatting the harddrive?
It's a 3 TB HDD and i've got 2 TB stored on it. I can't make a backup before I re-setup because I simply don't have the space for it.

Should be able to connect to it and it should get a IP address and you should be able to log in to the NAS's UI using the new IP address. I recommend using a Static IP address on the DNS and set it to out side of the default routers IP address pool. i.e. 192.168.0.32 or .20. My DNS is at .34.

Well, I guess I didn't ask my question right. I just wanted my computer to see my NAS in the file explorer, and give it a path letter. That's all.
I never had to re-install my NAS software.
What I did was; typ \\(NAS-IP) in explorer and hit enter. That's it. (Feeling like a dumbass) ::)
Thanks anyway for the help.
