Hello,
I'm having a strange issue with one of my DIR-655 routers. This newer one, hardware: B1, loses pieces of the screen when accessing the router admin pages. For example, when I click on the Tools tab, the left menu list only contains lines, no items. The main part of the screen contains fields but no text next to them. The browser that I'm using is Firefox 37.0.1. Has anyone ever seen this?
Is there a way to reload the firmware to fix this?
TIA, Marc.

PC Web Browser Configurations
Happen with other browsers?
Try Opera or IE? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again. (For older generation routers.)
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

I'm in the US, North Carolina.
I just used IE and the screens are similar. I noticed on the tool screen that the D-LINK graphic at the top is garbled... very odd.

Also, I have two of these. The 2nd I'm using as a network extender. That particular one is hardware version: A3, firmware: 1.37NA. Those screens are perfectly fine.

You might download v2.11 and do a factory reset, re-load the FW file, factory reset once more then set up from scratch. Disable any 3rd party security SW and browser add-ons during this process. See if the problem goes away...

Ok, I'll try that. I'll need to try that when my daughter is off of the network... :)
Thanks, Marc
