Title: Use DIR-600 C1 as repeater?
Post by: morgothcr on April 25, 2015, 01:38:58 PM
Hi
I got a Dir-600 router and I wanted to use it a repeater. Basically all sites and guides I found in the web refer to the DDWRT firmware as solution to do this, but it seems the particular model I have, 600 Revision  C, is not supported by DDWRT.
Is there another way to turn the Dir-600 C into a signal repeater?

Thanks!

This model DIR series router does not support wireless repeating.

I'm in Latin America.
Thanks for the answer! the linked article is clear enough... This is not a new router, luckily it was not purchased for this purpose.  A friend had it lying unused, so I borrowed it to extend the wireless signal at home.
I guess I'll have to come with another plan  :-\

This is the best you can do for this model router:
