i recently installed windows 7 and installed the driver for this adopter and forgot to unplug the adopter before installing the drivers. i know i needed to unplug it. it was not connected to internet so i know the problem. now i uninstalled all the drivers and unplug the adopter. but after reboot when i reinstall the drivers it gives me message "the device may not be present or could have been ejected/unplugged from the system. Insert or Reinsert Now". it doesnt let me install the drivers. so how to reinstall drivers and avoid this message ? need help urgently thanks

Check in the Windows Control panel under programs to see if it's listed there. IF it is, use the remove feature there to uninstall the drivers. You might check in the recent driver installer from the main web site and see if it has a uninstaller program and run it from there. This should clean out all drivers. Then reboot and run the installer again to re-install the drivers. Just remember to install with the adapter disconnected until it tells you to plug it in.

i already uninstalled it from the programs. now when I'm going to reinstalled WITHOUT THE ADOPTER plug in i get the message.

An what happens when you plug in the adapter while re-installing the drivers?
Have you used the driver package from the web site to remove and re-install drivers?
