Title: Possible to log caller id number instead of name?
Post by: tengky on July 02, 2009, 01:20:34 AM
Is it possible to configure the phone to log/display caller id number instead of name?

Caller id name is not available in this part of the world, as such, incoming call display 'unknown' at 1st line, and caller id number at 2nd line. However, the missed call logged show 'unknown' only.

Call ID is a service handled by your Service Provider. Voicecenter system only delivers the same to your phones. Do you have Call ID Delivery enabled by your Service Provider? Which country are you in? Log into the gateway and click on Advanced>Call Control and set your regional settings under Call Option.

Yes, caller ID is enabled by our service provider.
I am in Singapore.
Yes, I have set the country to Singapore.

The Gateway's Call Log shows the caller ID correctly.
The Base unit's Call History also shows the caller ID correctly.

The problem is the DPH-125MS display 1st line as 'Unknown', and 2nd line as the phone number.

This is can only be done from your service provider side. There is no option to enable or disable that feature on the phones.
