Title: Where do i find my DCS-932L "Device Password" - is it on the back of the camera?
Post by: alanjhayes on May 02, 2015, 10:12:58 AM
I have a DCS-930L and it works fine. I have purchased 2 used DCS-932L's and I cannot get them on my iphone. The search does find the cameras but when it asks for "Enter the Device Password", I'm not sure where to find this password. Is it on the back of the camera or is this something I must set myself?

Are you referring to the cameras Web page log in PW? Default out of the box is blank. We recommend that users set up and give a new PW during installation. Refer to the users manual for this information.

If the used cameras were factory set before shipping, then the username/password combination will be "admin" and leave the password field blank.  If that combination doesn't work, then it's likely the camera has the prior owner's credentials saved, in which case you should perform a factory reset.
