Since the best topic on modding the DIR-615 is locked

and my router got just out of warranty I decided to give it a try and post.
Well, DD-WRT already flashed.

But signal isn't good. Much worse than an older wrt54g2.
Read above that 802.11 "n" needs 3 external antennas. Looking at the PCB seems to be possible to ad an extra antenna.
I'm thinking in soldering 3 SMA female jacks on the PCB and wire them.
The doubt is where to wire to the middle one (3rd)?
Shouldn't be a JP9?

Would high gain antennas, >11dBi, make difference?
Other mod in view is to put an external USB. I'd like to make a NAS storage.

Well, maybe too much to expect from this old router... :P
I just don't want to buy another "top" 802.11 ac 750Mbps and got minimal improvement. ::)
Why this 300N didn't came with 3 antennas already? >:(
Well, any nice suggests are welcome.
CHeers!
