Title: Port forwarding not working at all
Post by: Harsh Pranami on May 07, 2015, 10:21:18 PM
Currently I'm using static ip address. Didn't work with dhcp either. So I did this

But still it shows port not opened

Things I've tried

Turning on/off dmz (currently off)
Turning on/off UpnP (currently on)
Changing ports
Upgrading router to latest firmware
I'm using cable broadband. The cable directly goes into router. No modem required. My region is India.

Some more info
Hardware version of router B1
Firmware 2.05UI
I've tried both wired and wireless conection to router. The static ip of wired is *.51 and that of wireless is *.50.
ALso I've tried with turning on/off SPI and Anti spoof checking. Didn't work. Currently they are both turned off.
Currently upnp is enabled.

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

Router and Wired Configurations
Some things to try: - Log into the routers web page at 192.168.0.1. Use IE, Opera or FF to manage the router. Besure to log into the Admin account on the router.

Port forwarding was not working before firmware update. Not working after that either.

Also there is no double nat condition

What is the IP address for the WAN or Internet address on the 605L?

How are you determining that PF rules are not working?
You have to be using them actively if your using a port checker to see if they are open or not.

I'm using a software PFconfig. According to it's documentation it says it uses the port which is to be checked. So there's no need for any other application to use that port.

You'll need to refer to the SW Mfr for help and information regarding that kind of app.
