Title: Satellite issue? -- New Router, maybe??
Post by: rowdyplace on May 16, 2015, 08:35:02 AM
I have 5 932l cams that worked well before I moved.  Now I use Hughes satellite internet service and cannot see the emailed pics created by motion detection.  I get many false triggers (email alerts) so I know the "motion detection" feature is working - just no pics.

Using MyDlink software on a pc fails to connect to the cameras (just spinning arrows...).  Connecting directly to a camera (using the ip address in a browser) allows me to see the video , setup screens, etc.  Also, using both Iphone and Android, MyDlink software allows me to see the video...

I need the emailed pics from motion detection...HELP!!!

I just notices the preceding post - "Topic: Can't access cameras through web all the sudden? Never had a problem before".  Maybe this is my problem..  Going to explore this thread after my nap!

Having chased my tail for 2 days - with no success - maybe i need to get a DLink router and start over...  Currently using a TP-Link wr84n1.

Looking at eBay, I see several DLink wireless routers for around $25.00.  I do not need the latest "high-speed-mudflaps".  Just a reliable model.

Any suggestions on the low end models??
