Title: Cannot Enter Password Recovery Mode

Hi everyone ;

I have a DGS-3612g xstack switch, i forget the admin password. In switch's manual,

Power on the switch. After the runtime image is loaded to 100%, the Switch will allow 2 seconds for the user
to press the hotkey [^] ( Shift + 6 ) to enter the “Password Recovery Mode”. Once the Switch enters the
“Password Recovery Mode”, all ports on the Switch will be disabled.

I did everything above but cannot enter password recovery mode. In Turkish keyboard hotkey is Shift + 3. I can enter any other d-link switches password recovery mode with this combination (shift + 3) but at 3612g no way.

I'm sorry for my bad English. I hope i can explain my problem.

Please help!!!

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
