I couldn't find a thread specifically for this switch but this one seems to be the closest model to mine...
My switch works as a switch but... when I try to login to the switch with the generic IP that it is supposed to have out of the box I cannot. I have tried using the d-link smartconsole application but it doesn't detect the switch either. I have logged into my FIOS router as well to see there was a device connected to the network that wasn't accounted for but I still couldn't find it.
Any advise or assistance would be much appreciated.
I currently have a NAS and a media server that dual NICs and I want to utilize the managed features of this switch but until I am able to discovery it or access it from a webpage I won't be able to take advantage of the management features.
