Title: DNS 320 L and Funplug
Post by: falcoman33 on July 10, 2015, 09:38:28 AM
Hello!!
i m new with this d link.
I want to install FunPlug. Is it easy to do that? can i go back if it was installed? how to remove it?

Is it a good application?

Another question, is it possible to configure minimal temperature to LOW fan? (without funplug)?

Thanks you very much!!

AFAIK the revision number for the 320L doesn't matter, the firmware is the same for all of them.
Yes, you can update to a newer firmware, doesn't matter which site you got it, as I said, is universal.
1.04B12 is a good one, I'm using it at the moment, especially because of the addons feature.

i have installed 1.04 b12 from here http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/support/product/dns-320l-sharecenter-2-bay-cloud-storage-enclosure

On the site, date must be : 11/05/2015
But i have 26/12/2014 on my dlink.

Is it normal?

Hello
thanks you for your help

I read the url you have given..

is this step necessary??  i don t want to hard reset my ShareCenter. (i don t want to erase all my hard drive!!!!)

Step 1.Making sure your Dlink Dns-320L is ready
After hard-reset, My setup is as follows

Hard reset means restoring the firmware to factory defaults, ie, deleting your configuration (everything you have set up on the web gui), so no erasing anything of your hard drive.

That said, I think it's not necesary anyways, you can install funplug right away because it doesn't mess with anything else by default, hard reset is just recommended.

At least thats what I'd gathered from using it.

Good luck.
