Title: Dir 655 and dlinkddns stoped working, why?

Hello,

I have been using for the last year or so Dlink DIR 655 router with dlinkddns account to be able to connect to my cameras. It worked great as I said for little more then a year and it just stopped working. I can see view my cameras when I am on my network but NOT outside my network. What I noticed is that when I am inside my router to check the settings for dynamic dns I noticed that STATUS is "disconnect".
As I said before, everything was working great at the beginning and for a year or so but one day it just stopped. I Searched for answers on the internet before posting here but could not find any solution. So please if anyone had the same problem and solved it please post your solution here. Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

DDNS was moved from a free service to a pay service not long ago:

Ensure your DDNS service and account are still active and configured correctly...

Hello, thanks for replying.
The firmware is 1.35NA. So it is the latest one. Router is located in Serbia (Europe)

There is v1.37 however may not be needed here. It fixed some Samsung issues is all.

The link I posted goes to the faq of dlink dns, and says that they require another authentication, starting in july, and service would stop if not completed.
It would be nice to hear back though.

Hello, well since I am not in Serbia at the moment I could not update to latest firmware on my router 655 to see if dlinkddns.com would work. I will do that when I return (30 days) and will post here how it went. Also, just to mention, I noticed that dlinkddns.com stoped working before July, sometime in June if I remember right.
ALSO, forgot to mention, in another house where I also use dlinkddns.com with D link router 855 everything is working just fine.
