Title: Loss of internet with Pace 5031nv
Post by: dreday78 on August 02, 2015, 06:37:31 PM
AT&T recently replaced our uverse modem with a Pace 5031nv router.  It doesn't have a bridge mode, but I followed these instructions to mimic it: https://forums.att.com/t5/Third-Party-Devices/How-to-Bridge-PACE-5031-NV-to-3rd-Party-Router/td-p/3612175
Now, for some reason I cant access any sites while connected to the DIR-655.  If I connect to the Pace modem, I have internet access.  Are there settings within the DIR-655 I need to change after following the instructions from the ATT forums to have access?

I forgot to mention that if I turn off the DMZ for the DIR-655, it can connect to the internet.

Update:  Just as a test a connected my Xbox One to the Pace and set the DMZ mode for it.  Same issue, the Xbox One can't surf, and the network status went from moderate to strict.  I'm going to contact AT&T about it.

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

When you get the ISP modem bridged and get the 655 setup, review this for XBL setup on the router:
