Title: Two HDDs but only 1 is recognized
Post by: marcelotdesa on August 03, 2015, 08:54:15 AM
Hi, I have 2 HDD in DNS-327L and one stopped being recognized. The two front lights of the HDDs are white. In System Status menu/Hard Drive Info appears two HDDs, but on My Files only one. I've changed the hard drives position and nothing.

The HDD that stopped I used for P2P and was functioning normally. When I turn on the DNS I can hear the two HDD being recognized.

Hard Drive Info:
Disk1, SAMSUNG, SAMSUNG HD203WI
Disk2, SAMSUNG, SAMSUNG HD103SJ

If I click on the status the information displayed are almost the same for both.

Eu estou usando o último firmware DLINK_DNS327L.1.03b03(3.13.0722.2014)

Thanks

Nothing different happens, still recognizing only one of them.

So if you only use one drive at a time, is each drive seen by the DNS separately in either bay?

It's a good attempt. I had to go to work, but I will do this test later and post here.
Thank you.

Ok just want to make sure each drive is seen. There maybe a problem with the unit and a phone call to D-Link support maybe needed...

I apologize for the delay, leaving only one HDD, what worked is still Ok but the other does not.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
