I have just upgraded the firmware after a notification, I did everything by the book and received the firmware upgrade " successful"
however when I go into the console the only things visible are:
Home Applications Management Storage status
my folder
my favourite programs add/remove
recent activities
nothing else is visible, if you hover over the buttons nothing happens. Am I missing something if not is there a way to put the old firmware back
much appreciate any help

OK so no one could come up with and answer, so I have spent some time and found it myself and maybe it will be of help to others.
if you upgrade the firmware and is reports back as successful, when you go into the control panel nothing responds, just right click and look for "refresh"
click on that and all should be well again

It would be recommended to also clear any browser caches as well before and after sending the FW upgrade file.
Thank you for posting about your experiences. Hope it helps future users.

I always get the screen clean when session has been more than 5 mins.. close browser , open again, relogin and the icons and all options usually reappears again... Sometimes I have to reboot the dns...but not usually, only a few times...
